Delicious food in nice atmosphere. Food is delicious and staff very friendly. However, it's a bit loud and not too private. Definitely required to make a reservation.

Tucked in a rather residential area in Lomas de Chapultepec, Mattea has nothing to hide when it comes to flavor. A truthful Italian eatery, from fresh baked bread to homemade pasta, this restaurant will lift up your spirits. Their cocktails are equally good as well as their service. And expended outdoor dining area brings this restaurant back on the map after COVID. I only found room to improvement in their desserts. I tried the classic tiramisu and found myself disappointed. Maybe try a different option in your visit.
